Answers

  1. Can you take . . .

A better question to ask is what can we not handle. Our process facility is able to handle all Liquid Industrial (L) wastes, some Corrosive (C) wastes and some Leachate Toxic (T) wastes. Please call Plant Manager Gary Boothe to discuss your individual case.

Our transportation division is able to safely remove all waste types except for Explosives, Radioactives and Medical Wastes, and reserves the right to decline removal of any waste in contravention of Regulation 558 and Transport of Dangerous Goods Act requirements for packaging.

  2. Do you take or transport soil?

Yes. Prior to transport, analysis is required to show the type of soil you have. This allows us to price accordingly and send it to the correct location.

  3. Who should I talk to?

Your best bet for transport and disposal requirements such as a quote or pricing is to speak to Brent McKee or Pam MacColllum. If you are a transport company looking to deliver waste material only, please contact Gary Boothe.

  4. Do you provide Transport of Dangerous Goods Training?

Yes. We provide a very comprehensive training course in Transport of Dangerous Goods. We also provide a training course in registering and updating your Ontario Ministry of the Environment Generator Number.

Quick Facts:

  • With freezing temperatures there is a reduction in the available payload a bin can handle.
  • Proper packaging is a must. The Transport of Dangerous Goods Act lays out packaging regulations for everyone.
